Anna Zaitseva did a bit of everything and shined in many ways to secure a 66-53 win for BC Samara (3-1) over Olimpia Grodno (0-4) on Tuesday, January 11, at the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Reliable, relentless, effective – Anna Zaitseva had another big game.

Former Rostov on Don forward scored 10 points and led her team in four other categories.

Zaitseva grabbed nine rebounds, dished four assists and stole the ball three times for a team high efficiency rating of 22.

Trinity Baptiste led Samara in scoring, finishing with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field.

Arizona standout added seven rebounds and two assists for a efficiency rating of 18.

Saicha Allen-Grant became a rock under the baskets.

Canadian international had eight points, five rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots.

Darya Kolosovskaya struggled from the three point line, however, she put up some nice numbers – seven points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Victoria Mazur made 3-of-5 three pointers enroute to nine points.

Anastasiya Sushchyk scored a game high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting display for Olimpia.

Point guard added five rebounds and four assists for a efficiency rating of 24.

Natallia Dashkevich helped with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Key stats

BC Samara shot the ball better and scored some valuable points in fast breaks (8-2).

Dmitry Donskov`s team made 16-of-33 two point field goal attempts or 48% compared to 37% for Grodno (16/43).

Samara had twice as much free throw attempts (19/26 vs 12/12).

The winners secured a 22-8 lead in the first quarter and later increased it up to 20 points.

Samara bench outscored Grodno 24-11.
