A new season is approaching fast, with first games scheduled on October 30-31 at Brno, Czech Republic. Find out the major offseason news, projected schedule and more.
Format
Twelve (12) teams from six countries will be split in two groups (A, B). Each team will play at least five games until January 16, 2022. The four best teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs (best-of-two; A1-B4, A2-B3, A3-B2, A4-B1). The Final Four will take place on March 25-27, 2022.
What`s new?
Žabiny Brno and Rostov Don SFEDU return to the competition after a one year break, while BC Samara will play for the first time.
TTT Rīga will focus on EuroLeague Women (season starts on October 6). Another bronze medalist Prometey will play in EuroCup Women regular season (Group B, group play starts on October 14). Orange Lions withdrew in the fall of 2020.
Other commitments
Four EWBL teams will chase glory in EuroCup Women. Horizont was drawn into group C, Nika Syktyvkar in group F and Žabiny Brno in group K. Pieštanske Čajky will play the qualifiers against Flammes Carolo from France on September 22 and 30.

Third stage: January 12-14, 2022, Ostrava, Czech Republic (Ostrava, Young Angels, Nika, Rostov).
Additional dates possible: November 30 (Liepāja) and December 19 (Rostov on Don).
