TTT Rīga tied a EWBL record in three pointers made (17) to win the first quarterfinal game against SBŠ Ostrava 89-57 on Tuesday, March 2, at the Daugava Sports hall in Riga.

Ilze Jākobsone made 8-of-10 three pointers to tie a league record, set by “Al Riyadi” player Roneeka Hodges on December 3, 2017.
TTT guard had three long balls in the first half and added five more after the break.
Jākobsone finished the game with 26 points.
Jessica Thomas scored 21 points and added 11 assists for a season record. Miami standout grabbed three rebounds for a game high efficiency rating of 28.
Dinija Pāvelsone made three three-pointers in the first half enroute to 11 points.
Gunta Baško had eight points and nine rebounds in her EWBL return.
Nikolina Zubac replied with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Bosnian international registered a team high efficiency rating of 24.
Tereza Motycakova followed with 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Key stats
TTT scored 10 second chance points early in the game but struggled from the three point line (2/10 in the first quarter).
Riga team connected 7-of-11 three pointers in the second quarter and 8-of-15 in the second half.
Hot shooting hands by Jākobsone, Pulvere and Thomas extended TTT lead up to 22 points at the break 50-28.
Jākobsone added five more three pointers in the second half.
SBŠ Ostrava turned the ball over 21 times, compared to 11 for Riga.
TTT played with two bigs – Klakocka, Pilābere – and lost the battle of rebounds (33-39, offensive rebounds 9-11).
Riga bench outscored Ostrava 37-12.
