Channon Fluker showed up, dominated in the paint and posted a season high efficiency rating of 50, as the Young Angels Košice smashed SBŠ Ostrava 88-65 on Friday, January 14, at the Tatran Hall in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Channon Fluker became the second player in the EWBL history to earn a efficiency rating of 50 or more.
Cal State at Northridge (CSUN) star scored 34 points on amazing 13-of-14 shooting from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the three point line.
Fluker also grabbed a game high 14 rebounds and blocked two shots.
Valerie Higgins also registered a double-double.
Pacific standout had 14 points and 10 boards.
Higgins added four assists and four steals for a efficiency rating of 22.
Katarina Knappova stepped up and scored 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.
Barbara Bohusova added 11 points and four assists.
Sona Svetlikova led SBŠ Ostrava with 22 points and six rebounds.
Eliška Kubičkova scored 16 points.
Tereza Motycakova had eight points, five assists and three steals.
Ostrava captain registered a team high efficiency rating of 13.

Young Angels outscored Ostrava in the paint 56-30.
The Slovak team outrebounded the hosts 49-29.
Channon Fluker scored 19 points in the first half for a 17 point lead 53-36.
Katerina Knappova had 12 points at the halfway line and Higgins offered some hot shooting too.
Košice bench outscored Ostrava 30-8, especially thanks to Knappova and Bohusova.
Game notes
Young Angels Košice improved to 2-2 and are 40 minutes away from the playoffs.
The SBŠ Ostrava have only mathematical chances to advance.
Both teams will play Nika Syktyvkar at a later date.
